Turkey Meatballs with Cauliflower Mash

 

These Turkey Meatballs with Cauliflower Mash are a clean, protein-packed comfort classic—perfect for fueling fat loss without feeling deprived. Lean ground turkey gives you the muscle-building protein your body needs, while grated zucchini adds moisture and nutrients without the carbs. Almond flour and egg hold it all together for a gluten-free, no-fuss option that tastes amazing. Paired with buttery cauliflower mash seasoned simply with garlic and sea salt, this meal is low in carbs but high in flavor. It’s satisfying, nutrient-dense, and exactly the kind of simple swap that helps you stay consistent and see real results.

 

Ingredients:Makes 2 Servings

Meatballs:

  • 12oz lean ground turkey (93% lean)

  • 1 small zucchini, grated and squeezed dry

  • 2 egg

  • 2 tbsp almond flour

  • 2 clove garlic, minced

  • Italian seasoning, salt, pepper

 

Cauliflower Mash

  • 14oz steamed cauliflower

  • 1 tbsp butter or ghee

  • Salt, garlic powder

 

Directions

  • Make meatballs: Combine turkey, zucchini, egg, almond flour, garlic, and seasonings. Roll into 1.5-inch balls.

  • Bake or air fry: Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18–20 minutes, or air fry for 12–14 minutes until golden and cooked through.

  • Steam cauliflower: Cook cauliflower until fork-tender (steam for 10 min or microwave 5–6 min with a splash of water).

  • Mash it: Blend or mash cauliflower with butter, garlic powder, and salt until smooth.

  • Plate meatballs over mash and sprinkle with fresh herbs if you’re feeling fancy.
