Peptides, Peptides,
Peptides...
Say hello to one of my favorite health and fitness tools!

THE BASICS
Your body is constantly communicating. It uses chemical messengers to regulate appetite, metabolism, inflammation, recovery, sleep, immune activity and many other essential functions. Peptides are short chains of amino acids that can participate in this communication process.
Some peptide medications have been thoroughly studied and approved by the FDA for specific medical conditions. Others remain investigational and have not been reviewed or approved by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality. That distinction matters.
Our goal is not to promote the latest trend or place every client on the same protocol. Our goal is to help you understand your options, receive appropriate medical guidance and build a personalized plan around what your body actually needs.
WHAT CAN PEPTIDES SUPPORT?
Peptides may provide an additional layer of support, but they do not replace the foundations of good health.
A medication cannot replace adequate protein. A recovery peptide cannot replace appropriate rest. An energy-focused therapy cannot replace quality sleep. A weight-management medication cannot teach you how to build habits that will support your results long term. We use peptide and cellular therapies as part of a more complete approach—one that helps you understand your body, make intentional choices and create results you can maintain.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are All Peptides FDA-Approved?
No.
Some peptide-based medications, including FDA-approved versions of semaglutide, tirzepatide, liraglutide and tesamorelin, are approved for specific medical indications.
Many peptides commonly promoted in wellness settings—including BPC-157, TB-500, KPV, MOTS-c, Selank, Semax, DSIP and Epitalon—are not FDA-approved treatments.
“Being studied,” “available through a pharmacy” and “FDA-approved” are not interchangeable terms.
What Is a Compounded Medication?
A compounded medication is prepared for an individual patient by combining, mixing or altering ingredients under a licensed prescriber’s direction when applicable legal requirements are met.
Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not verify their safety, effectiveness or quality before they are marketed. Compounding can serve an important medical need for certain patients, but it carries different regulatory and quality considerations from an FDA-approved manufactured medication.
Are Peptides Safe?
There is no single answer that applies to every peptide.
Safety depends on:
The specific therapy
Whether it is FDA-approved
The medical indication
Your health history
Your medications
The dose
The route of administration
Product quality
Medical monitoring
“Natural,” “bioidentical” or “made from amino acids” does not automatically mean risk-free.
Is Every Therapy Described on This Website Available?
No.
Some therapies are described for educational purposes because clients frequently hear about them online.
Mentioning a therapy does not mean it is currently available, legally compoundable, appropriate for you or recommended by our medical providers.
Availability can change based on:
Federal and state requirements
FDA actions
Pharmacy policies
Medical guidance
Product sourcing
Individual health history
Are Peptides Appropriate During Pregnancy or Breastfeeding?
Many peptide and cellular therapies have not been adequately studied during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Anyone who is pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive or could become pregnant must discuss this with the prescribing provider before beginning or continuing treatment.
Who Makes the Medical Decisions?
A licensed medical provider determines whether prescription treatment is appropriate and is responsible for prescribing decisions and medical management.
Coaching supports the habits, structure and accountability surrounding the treatment but does not replace medical care.
